Artist: Frankie

Frankie’s artistic journey began when he was just three years old, sketching everything from Godzilla and dinosaurs to his favorite superhero, Batman. Encouraged by his mother, an artist herself, he explored a wide range of creative mediums including painting, sculpting, cosplay building, and digital art

During high school, Frankie was known to draw on his friend’s skin, leading him to owning his first tattoo machine after graduation. It was his fascination with how art looked on the skin that ultimately led him to tattooing. In 2014, Frankie’s mother took him to Skin Factory, where he began a formal apprenticeship under a tattoo artist with over 30 years of experience, setting the foundation for his career in body art.

Frankie is known for his bold use of bright colors, solid lines, and his specialization in anime, manga, comic book, and video game inspired tattoos. His work has been featured in magazines, showcased in art shows, and recognized at major tattoo and anime conventions across the country, including awards from Villain Arts and Anime Ink Con. He’s also been invited as a guest artist in multiple states, continuing to build a name for himself in the tattoo community.

Today, Frankie is the co-owner of Sugoi! Tattoos and Piercings, where he brings pop culture to life through vibrant, custom tattoo work.
